(An) experimental study on laminar film condensation heat transfer augmentation on circumferential surfaces of horizontal tubes수평관 주위 표면에서의 응축 열전달 촉진에 관한 실험적 연구
Heat transfer augmentation for laminar film condensation of Freon-11 was investigated experimentally on a finned surface of horizontal tubes. The augmented film-side heat transfer coefficients for a fin tube were approximately three times higher than those for a smooth tube, being the test conditions equal.
The validity of the Nusselt``s theory was verified by an experiment of a smooth horizontal tube. The acceptability of the McAdams`` correlation for turbulent heat transfer in tube was also checked.
