We study spin-wave propagation using a phased array antenna. A phase-controlled spin-wave source array generates a spin wave propagating in any direction over a wide angle. The magnitude and directivity of the spin wave are found to be enhanced by increasing the number of individual elements, suggesting that the unidirectional high-power spin-wave beam can be possible using a phased array antenna. Furthermore, the phased array enables to focus the spin wave at a specific position, leading to a local confinement of the spin wave with an enhanced amplitude. The proposed spin-wave array antenna can be applied to the development of spin-wave demultiplexers.
