dc.description.abstractCyclosiloxanes having intramolecular donor atoms, a Si-Si bond, and vinyl groups were synthesized as useful precursors for ring-opening polymerization.1,1,3,3-Tetrakis(dimethylaminomethylphenyl)-5,5-dimethylcyclotrisiloxane was also synthesized and characterized by single crystal X-ray structural analysis, which shows strong coordination from N to Si in the solid state.
