The morphology and orientation of photo-polymerized poly (acrylate) networks formed in ordered low molecular weight liquid crystal solvents were studied by ED and imaging. Differences in orientation and network morphology were observed depending on monomer flexibility and solvent order. Network structure has been analyzed and various principles governing the formation of each structure have been deduced.
