We have studied the cathodoluminescence (CL) behaviors of ABO(3):Pr3+ phosphors. It is found that the ABO(3):Pr3+ phosphors can emit a very wide range of spectrum of colors except bright green. Also, the color of the emitted spectrum of the ABO(3):Pr3+ phosphors is dependent on the crystal phase of its host lattice. When the crystal lattice parameters of the host lattice are the same, i.e., a = b = c, the blue-green transition P-3(0) --> H-3(4) appears to be preferred. While the crystal angles of the host lattice are the same, i.e., alpha = beta = gamma, the red transition D-1(2) --> H-3(4) seems to be preferred. For other crystal phases except the aforementioned two extreme cases, the phosphors show whitish emissions.
