dc.description.abstract | Lactic acid is of interested as the raw material of biodegradable polymer. In this study lactic acid was separated by reactive extraction with mixed tertiary amine extractant dissolved in 1-octanol/n-heptane. Mixed tertiary amine extractant was composed of tripropylamine(TPA) and trioctylamine(TOA). The concentration range of lactic acid is ca. 5wt% which is the concentration of lactic acid obtained from fermentation.Maximum distribution coeficient was obtained at 8:2 weight ratio of TPA/TOA and their extraction efficiencies were above 90%. | - |
