dc.description.abstractA new pixel arrangement for dot inversion liquid crystal displays with high image quality and low power consumption is proposed. With this method, the power consumption in the panel can be reduced remarkably (1/600 for SVGAs). This is compatible with conventional column/dot inversion driver ICs and can be realised by just shifting the start signals of even rows without additional circuitry.-
