dc.description.abstract | The separation of acetylene from paraffins using CuCl complex reaction was investigated. The amount of complexed acetylene increased at lower temperature, in better mixing conditions, with the higher amounts of CuCl present in the slurry and at higher dissociation temperatures, but decreased at higher complexing temperature and repeated use of slurry. If CuCl is not present or the temperature is not suitable for the complexing reaction, only absorption or physical adsorption of gases can occur. | - |
