The evaluation of computer-based information system is an important issue in management and control of computer-based information system. To assess the real performance of the information system, many kind of dependent variables are applied in MIS studies. Therefore so different aspects of success is addressed in different studies that it makes difficult to compare with the performance of other systems.
In this study a model of IS evaluation is provided to insist that different measures should be applied to test the IS performance with respect to its structure. The evaluation measures are adopted from Delone and McLean``s six categories (1992) and the structure of IS is defined with five dimensions such as the degree of centralization, hardware deployment, the degree of integration, end-user computing, and the place of MIS department in organizational hierarchy.
Hypotheses were supported, in that the different measures are perceived important and used in different level in different MIS structures.
