dc.description.abstract | The axial dispersion of fine particles in fluidized beds can be predicted by a semitheoretical correlation based on the isotropic turbulence theory. The correlation reported previously for the axial dispersion of fine particles in fluidized beds has been modified on the basis of the theory which indicates that axial mixing is more pronounced in a bed of fine particles than in one of coarse particles. | - |
