Progress in technology of acquiring signals of neural activity has allowed the application to be broadened from medical usages to control inputs and entertainment. Among various methods, fNIRS and EEG are broadly used due to its compact size. Recent research has proven that more information can be extracted from acquiring fNIRS and EEG signals simultaneously. For convenient fNIRS/EEG hybrid signal acquisition, this research has analyzed the fNIRS system to select appropriate parts and has designed a terminal capable of acquiring fNIRS and EEG signals simultaneously and has manufactured the fNIRS/EEG hybrid system.
