TrpA1 stimulates feeding under high temperature in Drosophila melanogaster고온에서 초파리의 섭식행동을 촉진하는 dTrpA1의 역할 연구

It is important for organisms’ survival to sense around temperature and respond to it. Sensing change in temperature directs to survival especially on poikilothermic animal such as Drosophila melanogaster because it takes just few seconds that environmental temperature affects to their body temperature. In the previous study, investigators found that Drosophila melanogaster shows temperature preference and Drosophila TrpA1 is responsible for the preference in AC neurons. Here, furthermore, we identified that dTrpA1 stimulates feeding behavior responding to increasing temperature in Drosophila melanogaster using CAFE assay.
