dc.description.abstract | It is important for organisms’ survival to sense around temperature and respond to it. Sensing change in temperature directs to survival especially on poikilothermic animal such as Drosophila melanogaster because it takes just few seconds that environmental temperature affects to their body temperature. In the previous study, investigators found that Drosophila melanogaster shows temperature preference and Drosophila TrpA1 is responsible for the preference in AC neurons. Here, furthermore, we identified that dTrpA1 stimulates feeding behavior responding to increasing temperature in Drosophila melanogaster using CAFE assay. | - |
