Development of multi-functional composites using carbon nanotube and carbonyl iron powder-based nanohybrid clusters탄소나노튜브와 카르보닐 철 분말 기반의 나노하이브리드 클러스터를 이용한 기능성 복합체 개발

In this dissertation, the multi-functional polymeric and cementitious composites incorporating CNT@CIP-based nanohybrid clusters were developed. First, previous studies pertaining to the recent advancement on conductive polymeric composites using various kinds of conductive fillers and many kinds of dispersion methods for the conductive fillers were widely revisited. Then, the fabrication method of CNT@CIP-based nanohybrid cluster was proposed, and the formation of the cluster was analyzed using various characterization tools. The multi-functional polymeric composites using these proposed clusters were fabricated, and their functionalities including EMI shielding composites, flexible strain sensor for monitoring human motions, and magneto-meters applications are systematically evaluated. In addition, the fabricated clusters were used to fabricate multi-directional cement-based sensor. This dissertation can be categorized in to four aspects considering the proposed functionalaity: 1) Fabrication of CNT@CIP-based nanohybrid clusters and development of EMI shielding polymeric composites with these clusters, 2) Design of a highly flexible and sensitive polymeric sensor incorporating CNT@CIP-based nanohybrid lusters for monitoring movements of human bodies, 3) Fabrication of magneto-meters using CNT@CIP-based nanohybrid clusters-embedded polymeric composites, and 4) Directionally sensitive cement-based sensor using CNT@CIP-based nanohybrid clusters. The obtained outcomes provided the new insight of the proposed CNT@CIP-based nanohybrid clusters, which improved the functional performances and increased the possibility of the nanohybrid clusters-embedded composites as multi-functional composites.
