Speed ratio control for electronic differentials

An effective and simple speed ratio control for use in the electronic differentials found in electric vehicles is presented. It is shown through a small-scale experiment that the proposed control has a better steady-state and transient performance than existing independent speed controls and equally distributed torque controls.
