dc.description.abstract | In this paper, we proposed a low cost open source approach based on Arduino microcontroller. The experimental scanning system is consisting of three major components: a motor controlled XY scan device, a data acquisition device with connected probe sensor, and a post-processing device. During the design process, we have found several factors such as high resolution, sensor characteristics and system building cost for data acquisition. In our design, we have exploited 0. 2, 0. 5 and 1 mm of resolution and focused on ferrite pot core for eddy current measurement. We also introduce mobile portability for various test applications. | - |
