남성노인의 BMI와 하지근력에 따른 건강체력, 심혈관 위험요인 및 대사증후군 위험인자간의 비교Differences of Physical Fitness, Cardiovascular Function, and Metabolic Syndrome Risk Factors to BMI and Lower Extremity Strength in Male Older
The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between BMI and isokinetic leg extension strength in low(n=128), middle(n=76), and high BMI groups(n=68). The subjects were 272 elderly men, aged 65~75 years. All data were analyzed for two-way ANOVA Window 15.0 SPSS program. The results were followed. Cardiovascular functions to BMI and isokinetic leg extension strength were the following. VO2peak, HRpeak, PeakSBP and exercise time were significantly effects on BMI, isokinetic leg extension strength and interaction effects of BMI and isokinetic leg extension strength. Physical fitness factors to BMI and isokinetic leg extension strength were the following. Push up, sit up, and sit and reach were significantly on BMI, isokinetic leg extension strength and interaction effects of BMI and isokinetic leg extension strength. Metabolic syndrome risk factors to BMI and isokinetic leg extension strength were the following. TC, TG, glucose, and WC were significantly on effects BMI , isokinetic leg extension strength, and interaction effects of BMI and isokinetic leg extension strength. This study suggests that BMI and isokinetic leg extension strength are associated with in cardiovascular function, physical fitness, and metabolic syndrome risk factors in elderly men.
