dc.description.abstract | The purpose of this study was to investigate temporal-spatial gait variables with different of leg lengths in elderly women. The subjects of this study were 885 elderly women. Groups were divided into two groups; balance group(n=476, age:74.19±6.52) and imbalance group(n=409, age:74.65±6.56) by the left or right leg length discrepancy. All data were analyzed with independent t-test using SPSS program. The results were follows; Ambulation Time was significantly differences between group(p<0.01). Swing Time was significantly differences in left leg(p<.001). Stance Time was significantly differences in left leg(p<0.01). Double Support Time was significantly differences in left leg(p<0.01) and right leg(p<0.001). Step Extremity was significantly differences in right leg(p<0.05), HH Base Support was significantly differences in right leg(p<0.01). Swing% of Cycle was significantly differences in left leg(p<0.01) Stance% of Cycle was significantly differences in left leg(p<0.01). Toe In/Out was significantly differences in left leg(p<0.001). As a result, leg length differences was related to falling in elderly. and This study will be expected to be for as a basis for developing an exercise program for walk performance improvement of older adults. | - |
