We propose the concept of prototyping a multi-touch surface of an arbitrary form using a flexible linear multi-touch sensor that we call TouchString. We defined the conceptual structure of a TouchString, and implemented an example prototype of a TouchString. We verified the feasibility of the concept by demonstrating a few basic application scenarios using the prototype.-
