| dc.description.abstract | The mass spectra of the affine Toda field theory are obtained by computation of the eigenvalues of the mass matrix. To find the relations between the affine Toda theory and the nonlinear sigma model, we modified the mass matrix. And we showed that the mass spectra obtained from modified mass matrix are coincident wit those of the nonlinear sigma model. Moreover, the modified equations of motion which give the modified mass matrix are discussed. | eng |
