Schwarz method is a very efficient algorithm for linear elliptic boundary value problems. In this thesis, we apply it to nonlinear elliptic boundary value problems. As local solvers on subdomains, nonlinear Gauss-Seidel iteration and FAS are suggested and tried. Tables for the results are included. They give good results.
