It is known that the Domain Decomposition Method is good for solving boundary value problems numerically, including interface problems. We study two versions of domain decomposition methods; nonoverlapping method and overlapping method. We study their converge properties and compare the efficiency of the algorithms. Numerical experiments show nonoverlapping method works better for interface problems.
