dc.description.abstract | Dual Scaling functions with free parameters in the form of convolution are constructed. Using the concept of filter banks, we find the solution of the convolution-type biorthogonality condition and its construction algorithm. An algorithm for the construction of dual scaling functions of convolution-type is presented. Examples of the construction are also given. One parameter family of scaling functions interpolates the Daubechies scaling function $D_4$ and B-spline scaling function $B_3$. | eng |
