Integrated circuits, which have grown rapidly according to Moore's Law, have become smaller in size, and the problems of heat generation and increasing power consumption are emerging. Accordingly, studies are being actively conducted to reduce power consumption of a transistor, which is one of the elements constituting an integrated circuit. However, there is no research related to the diode, which is another element. In this dissertation, a cold metal source is realized by using the fact that graphite exhibits abrupt charge density change at the charge neutral point.
