In general, the higher signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) and the better image quality can be achieved at a higher-magnetic field MRI system. These properties help us to see more detail structures of the images and identify diseases more clearly in clinical applications. In order to utilize these advantages, many MRI studies such as fMRI have been performed at higher magnetic field strength. However, there are also a number of drawbacks such as an increased field inhomogeneity and the relatively short T2 *. For EPI-based fMRI methods, these issues are the major challenges in performing the fMRI study. In addition, with EPI-based method, it is difficult to increase the spatial resolution and correct the artifacts appeared in the images. In order to perform a high-resolution fMRI at 7T system, this study proposes a high spatiotemporal resolution MRI technique which is less sensitive to the field inhomogeneity.
