dc.description.abstractThe purpose of this work is to present the impact of the fiber distribution, which results from different placing directions of the beam, on the flexural behavior of UHSC. To this end, flexural tests were carried out for specimens manufactured with two different placing directions and flexural behaviors including cracking and ultimate flexural strengths were then measured. In order to evaluate the effect of the two different placing directions on the fiber distribution characteristics, an image processing technique was developed and applied. Based on the results, the influence of the fiber distribution characteristics on the tensile behavior, which was represented by flexural strength, of SFRUHSC was quantitatively evaluated.-
