dc.description.abstractAn enhanced rate control scheme for reverse traffic channels of the 1xEV-DO system is proposed. The proposed scheme prevents the reverse traffic channels from being overloaded by estimating the traffic load of the next frame. It is shown that the overload probability of the proposed scheme is much lower than that of the conventional scheme.-
