TM scattering by a gap on a circular waveguide

A new method for the analysis of scattering by a circumferential gap on a conducting circular waveguide is presented. The method. based on the Fourier transform and mode-matching techniques, yields a rapidly-convergent series solution. Numerical results illustrate the effects of gap, width and waveguide radius on radiation and scattering. (C) 2003 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
