The receiver noise equation: A method for system level design of an RF receiver
In this article, a new equation, the receiver noise equation, is introduced for the system level design of an RF receiver The receiver noise equation may be viewed as an extended added-noise analysis, and it summarizes noise and other signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) degrading factors in the receiver With this introduced equation and the analysis of the SNR degrading factors in the receiver, the required performance of a receiver may be easily obtained.
