dc.description.abstractMicrotunneling techniques play a crucial role in pipeline construction. This paper proposes an automatic microtunneling algorithm using fuzzy logic to assist operators in ensuring microtunneling construction quality. To make fuzzy controller output effective, we slightly modified conventional defuzzification methods. The proposed algorithm shows tunneling results comparable to those of experts.-
