Signal strength-based link stability estimation in ad hoc wireless networks

An enhanced link stability estimation model for ad hoc wireless networks is presented. In the comparison of three models, the routing with the proposed model finds a route that has the longest lifetime with little increase in hop-length. Especially, the route has two times longer lifetime than the shortest path route.
