dc.description.abstractSimple tuning formulas are derived to design a PI controller to meet gain and phase margin specifications. These formulas are suitable for the auto-tuning of a process where robustness should be guaranteed. The auto-tuned PI controller is examined for the speed regulation of a PM synchronous motor.-
