Novel wideband internal chip antenna for PCS/IMT-2000 dualband applications
A novel wideband internal chip antenna for KPCS/IMT-2000 dual-band applications is investigated experimentally and numerically. It has a wide bandwidth of about 21.4%, measured gain of 2.6 dBi, and an onmidirectional radiation pattern while retaining cost effectiveness and small size. These features make the proposed antenna highly suitable for handset applications. (C) 2004 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
