dc.description.abstract | This paper presents robust control synthesis technique for uncertain dynamical systems subject to structured parameter perturbations such as aerodynamic uncertainties in flight control. A new approach for incorporating parameter uncertainty into the robust H00 control design is explored in this paper. It is shown that the resulting time invariant H∞ controller stabilizes the uncertain system for a prescribed uncertainty bound. The proposed robust control technique is applied to the acceleration control of a canard-controlled missile under the presence of aerodynamic uncertainties. It is shown that the proposed parameter-robust H∞ control design technique outperforms the existing H∼°method and other LQG techniques in improving the robustness of the closed-loop system to aerodynamic variations. | - |
