dc.description.abstractBased upon the two-state M-integral. we determine a singular stress field for a crack normal to the ply-interface of a cross-ply composite laminate under in-plane extension. The results obtained from the two-state M-integral are compared with those from the hybrid finite element analysis. This method turns out to be straightforward and efficient compared with the hybrid finite element method.-
