dc.description.abstract | In this paper, the vehicle load effects on roof slabs of parking garage according to the varied earthfill height are analyzed through the numerical study. Besides, the equivalent vehicle load factors which can consider the earthfill and wheel loa effects without taking the sophisticated numerical analysis ae introduced. Based on the standard design truck mentioned in Korea bridge design code, the structural behaviours due to the variation of design variables including the earth-fill height are reviewed. The concentrated wheel load effect are reduced as the slab size and earthfill are increased. Finally it has been found that the uniformly distributed load of 1200kg/m2 which is being recommended in current design code is sufficient as a design load if the height of earth-fill is equal to or greater than 1.5m | - |
