The notion of analyticity (or smoothness) has played a critical role in estimating the optical flow field. It can be extended to the temporal domain, suggesting a more robust result for recovering optical flow from multiple frames. In this paper a spatio-temporal optical flow model is derived, and is used for the flow estimation. Incorporated with the gradient-based flow estimation method, the proposed flow model improves the accuracy considerably.-
