dc.description.abstract | We present the experimental observation and detailed quantum mechanical analysis of the complex resonances occurring through multiple predissociation pathways. The complex features in the photodissociation spectrum of Cs-2 are well reproduced by the close-coupling calculation including three channels. A very narrow resonance with a linewidth of similar to 2 x 10(-7) cm(-1) is predicted. It is shown that q-reversal can occur in predissociation with only two channels involved. | - |
