dc.description.abstract | A new method is developed for antenna radiation pattern analysis using spherical near fields and the uniform geometrical theory of diffraction (UTD). The spherically scanned tangential electric near field is transformed to the present one to more efficiently obtain the far-field antenna pattern by employing UTD. Examples illustrating the accuracy and speed of the method presented in this paper for large antennas are presented. (C) 1999 John Wiley & Sons, Inc. | - |
