dc.description.abstractA problem of a circular are-shaped crack in an isotropic-elastic medium under the thermal loading (heat flux at infinity) ir revisited and the closed-form solution is obtained This result corrects some errors found in a previous work by Chao and Shen (J. Thermal Stresses, Vol. 16, pp. 225-232, 1993). The present solution is verified by numerical computation using the finite element method.-
