dc.description.abstract | Gear shaving is the most efficient process for finishing a gear tooth face generated by shaping or hobbing. In this study, a MS-Windows application program has been developed which can design the specification of the shaving cutter from the given gear to be shaved. From the latter and the shaving method, the shaving cutter data are determined by the developed software. The software also displays the drawings of the designed shaving cutter and a manufacturing process chart useful in the working field. | - |
