TEMPERATURE-DEPENDENT RKKY INTERACTION IN ONE-DIMENSION

The temperature-dependent behaviour of the RKKY interaction in one dimension is investigated for the free electron gas model by both analytical and numerical methods. The present Studies show that the range function has the form cos(2k(F)r)e(-alpha(T))/r(beta(T)), where the exponents alpha(T) and beta(T) increase and decrease montonically, respectively, with increasing temperature.
