High power factor self-power-controlling electronic ballast using current source type push-pull resonant inverter

A new simple low cost high power factor correction circuit for electronic ballast employing a current source type push-pull resonant inverter is proposed. The proposed circuit provides high power factor, low current harmonic distortion, self-power-controlling operation for load variations and cost-effectiveness.
