A geometric interpretation of the PERT assumptions on the activity time
This article illustrates the PERT assumptions on the activity time with plane curves arising from them. In addition, this article suggests a simpler interpretation of these assumptions, and clears up a common misunderstanding about the roots of a cubic equation arising from an assumption.
