dc.description.abstractUsing the real-time formalism we derive the temperature dependent gap equation for a dynamically generated fermion mass of ladder QED with four-fermion interaction. We obtain the value of the critical temperature from the gap equation. Some numerical results are presented. We also consider the composite operator effective potential of this model.-
