The fluid-structure interaction(FSI) analysis requires results of each analysis as an input to the other analysis. Usually the grids for fluid analysis and structural analysis are different, so the results should be transformed properly to each other. In this study, kriging is tested for an interpolation method in the fluid-structure interaction analysis. The accuracy of kriging is compared with the widely-used surface spline method. Mode shapes and the pressure field are used in numerical tests and kriging shows low accuracy for a high order mode shape and high accuracy for the pressure field.
