A Facile Preparation of Highly Functionalized Cyclopropanes and Their Conversion to Cyclopentanones and Furans
It was found that cyclopentanones and furans were prepared from 1-alkenyl-1-methoxycyclopropane derivatives derived from the conjugate addition of 1-methoxy-2-alkenylidenephosphoranes to activated olefins.
