Fourth generation (4G) wireless communications need the integration of various systems. So, the need of multi-standard RF front-end is increasing. To make multi-standard transceiver, the RF receiver is designed using reconfigurable mixer method that consists of two LNAs and wide-band mixer using flexible input matching network. They can be operated at 2.1 ~ 2.5 GHz and 5.8 GHz. Because recent wireless standards use these frequency bands, proposed receiver can support these wireless standards and be used for software defined radio (SDR) application. The receiver consists of LNA bank and reconfigurable RF/analog block. The reconfigurable RF/analog block can support 2~6 GHz for multi-standard. In this paper we design multi-standard receiver that can support both WCDMA and IEEE 802.11a/b/g standards. Moreover, to verify the multi-architecture supporting, we implement multi-standard receiver that can support WCDMA and IEEE 802.11b/g using reconfigurable mixer method.
