dc.description.abstract | An expert system is developed for the design synthesis and the reliability analysis. The synthesis part is made using a rule-based production system called KOPS, and the reliability analysis part is constituted of the computer codes, CAT, FTAP and IMPORTANCE. These two parts are linked in LISP interpreter. This expert system is applied to the design of Auxiliary Feed Water System. It is turned out that can generate various design alternatives and can perform reliability analysis successfully. | eng |
