원자외선분광기(FIMS)의 Sensitivity calibrationThe sensitivity calibration of the far-ultraviolet imaging spectrograph
2004년 현재 위성궤도상에서 임무수행중인 과학기술위성1호의 주탑재체인 원자외선분광기(FIMS)의 감도 조절(Sensitivity Calibration)을 하였다. 이를 위해 2003년 11월과 2004년 5월 사이에 백색왜성 1개와 O형 별 2개를 관측하였으며, 감도 조절이 잘 되어있다고 알려져 있는 HUT(Hopkins Ultraviolet Telescope) 데이터와 비교하여, 감도의 절대적인 수치를 나타내는 유효면적(effective area) 값을 FIMS의 전 파장영역에 대하여 계산하였다.
